So I started riding MTB's from way back in 93', genuinely a scary thought that this is over 30 years ago now. Since then I've never looked back, the freedom, fresh air and pure adrenaline that you cant beat doing on anything else. I first raced in 95' at the Noahs Cotswold Classic and had my arse handed to me on a plate... So naturally I went back for more! I've raced in numerous Nationals both in DH and Enduro, 24h XC, Road, Gravel and Cyclocross. I've ridden in Hawaii, New Zealand, Spain, French Alps, Germany... to be fair most of Europe. I've had a very privileged ridding and working career.

I landed a role fixing bikes in 2001 at the weekends to try and cover my bike purchasing addiction.. If you've ever been here, you'll see that failed.. I ended up falling in love with it so much more, it wasn't long until this turned into my career path. Starting at Williams Cycles, then to Leisure Lakes where I rose through the ranks in the workshop and then over seeing the store alongside Phil. After 11 years there, I opened and managed the Evans Cycles in Cheltenham where we took it to the most successful store opening they had ever had. However the opportunity came along to work at Specialized/Certini in Bristol, a dream of mine and something that I couldn't not shoot for. 2014 saw myself commuting to Bristol working alongside one of the the premium brands globally and with a company that allowed me to stretch and prove myself. 6 Years later, I had a scratch had to be itched. So here I am, owner, technician, rider, local. Trying to carve Lucky 13 Bikes into being the first name in your mind whenever you need help for your bike.
