Cervelo R5 Red XPLR AXS Carbon Road Bike 2026
The Cervelo R5 Road Bike is legendary. From the limits-shattering R5CA to Wout van Aert’s win on Mont Ventoux, the R5 has defined Cervelo for over two decades. The all-new R5 weighs just 5.97kg and is stiff enough to compete at the highest levels, as Pauline Ferrand-Prévot proved at this summer’s Tour de France Femmes.
Lightweight Cervelo R5 Frame
In size 56, the R5 weighs 5.97kg, 900 grams below the UCI minimum. The frame is 651 grams, the fork 298 grams, and refinements to every component cut a total of 326 grams across the bike.
Cervelo Race-Ready Fit Geometry
Handling geometry is largely unchanged, aside from a minor bottom bracket adjustment for 29mm tyres. Fit geometry now matches the S5, keeping riders in an optimal position for fast group rides.
Cervelo One-Piece Handlebar and Stem
The HB18 handlebar and stem drop 150 grams and improve aerodynamics by two Watts. Drawing on S5 insights, it delivers comfort, stiffness, and speed, ideal for long days and sprint finishes. All sizes remain UCI-legal.
Ultralight Wheelset
The Reserve 34 | 37 SL wheels save 60 grams while maintaining the strength and stiffness of the previous set, with a refined layup that reduces weight without sacrificing performance.

All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
